(1) Where the State Government is satisfied that the pUiposes for which the Authority was established under this Act, have been substantially achieved or the Authority has failed ln Its objections, so as to render the continued existence of the Authorlty ln the Offlcial Gazette, declare that the Authority shall be dissolved with effect from such date as may be specified in the notification; and the Authority shaH be deemed to be dissolved accordingly.
(2) From the ~d date,-
(a) aU properties, funds and dues which. are vested in OT rea)rzable by the Authority shaU vest in. or be realrzable by. the State Government
(b) all liabUlties which are enforceable against the Authority shall be enforceable against the State Government.
(c) for the purpose of carrying out any development which has been carried out by the Authority and for the purpose of realizing properties, funds and dues referred to tn dause (a) the functions of the Authority shall be discharged by the State Government.
(3) Nothing In thls section shall be construed as preventing the State Government from reconstituting the Authority in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
The Schedule [See section 2(c]J The Assam State Capital Region shall comprise of the following areas:-
1. Kamrup Metropolitan District (all Circles}
2. Kamrup Oistrict(Hajo, Palashbari, Rangia, Goroimari, Chaygaon, Boko, North Guwahati, Kamalpur and Koya Circle)
3. Nalbari District (Barkhetri, Nalbari, Pachim Nalbari, Ghograpar, Barbhag and· Banekuchi Circle)
