(1) The Government shall cause the annual report to be laid under the State Legislative Assembly along with a memorandum of action taken or proposed to be taken on the recommendations of the Commission and the reasons for the nonacceptance of the recommendations, if any, After receipt of the audit report of the Cornmission, the Government shall take necessary steps to lay the audit report before the Assam Legislative Assembly.

(2) CHArrER V MISCELLANEOUS Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Members and employees of the Commission to be public servant 15, The Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Members and employees of the Commission shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian penal Code, 1860.
