steps, compound wall, hedge, or fence or odrer structure, is within the line, such street the Authority may, after giving the owner of the land or buildii a notice of the intention to do so, take possession of the said land with its 0 closing wall, hedge or fence, if any, or of the said platform, verandah, stej or such other structure as aforesaid or of the portion of the said platform, verandah, steps or other such structure as aforesaid which is within t] prescribed line of the street.
