Section 47: Protection o f action taken u n d e r th is Act

The Assam Town and Country Planning Act, 1959State Act of Assam · Act 2 of 1960

(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any person for any thing which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any order made thereunder.

(2) Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, no suit or other legal proceeding sh dl lie against the State Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any order made thereunder.
