(1) Th e State Gover nment may by no th fication in the Official Gazet te, dire ct th at any power exerc isable by it under this Act or rules mad e the reu nder sha ll, in rela tion to such matter s and subject to such conditio ns, as may be specified in the direction be exercis­ able also by such officer o r autho rity s ubordin ate to the Sta te Government as may be specified in the notification.

(2) All notifications under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be, before the Sta te Legislature.
