Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, notification Number S.O. 3159 dated the YiP October, 1966 the following recruitment regulations for regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Assistant Director of Education (Physical) in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations, are hereby published for information; namely:- ^ - • ^ - i - ' - J«lltfcfc';;i •'

1. Short title and commencement-( 1) These regulations may be called Assistant Director of Education (Physical) Recruitment Regulations, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette.

2. Number of posts, classification and Level in Pay Matrix. -' The number of the said posts, their classification and - Level in Pay Matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule annexed to these - : - regulations.' j r \ .' .:•,-,.• j .'.,.. > '.. .7".:.".:;jf'.".;.'-.; ; - '.• | ' 3. (a) Whohas entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or ' • . ' , - • • r • . ' Provided-mat Government, may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable : to such person and the j«her party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person : from the operation of this regulation. ' " . • > . 5, Power to relax. - Wĥ re the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is of the opinion that it is ! necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with Union , Public Service Commission! relax any of the provisions of these regulations with respect to any class sr category of I persons or posts. %$$\: ; . ; * % . : r ; :' 1' '- \ '^^" ^] ' 6. Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nocobar Island or Lakshadweep. physical education in educational institutions or youth welfare camps with two years administrative experience. Desirable:

(i) Degree in Education;

(ii) Doctorate degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Note: 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified Note : 2 Tbe qualification regarding experience is relaxable at tbe discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes, if at any. stage of selection die Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion' that sufficient : number of candidates^' from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them. Whether age and educational qualifications prescribed R*;.;.y.- direct recruit* will apply in the case of promotees. Period of probation, if any.

(8) AGE NO EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: YES.

(9) One Year for Direct recruits. Method of recruitment whether by direct recruitment or by promotioii or by deputation? absorption and percentage of the vacancies to be filled by various methods.

(10) 75% by promotion, 25% by ,. direct recruit­ ment. In case of recruitment By promotion/ deputation/ absorption grades from which promotion/ deputation/ absorption to be made.

(11) Promotion : School inspector (Physical) in Level-10 in the Pay Matrix with five years* Service in the Grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis. If a Departmental Promotion: Committee: exists' what . is its composition.
