Section 13: Restriction on certain practices

Atomic Energy (Radiation Protection) Rules, 2004Central Rules · 1962

(1) Practices such as deliberate addition of radioactive substances in foodstuffs, beverages, toys, personal ornaments, and cosmetics or any other commodity or product intended for ingestion, inhalation or percutaneous intake by, or application to, a human being and sale, import or export of such products shall not be permitted.

(2) Activation of the aforesaid products shall not be permitted.
