Section 40: Application of Act to State Courts of Small Causes .

The Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act, 1887Central Act · Act 12 of 1887

(1) This section and sections 15, 32, 37, 38 and 39 apply to Courts of Small Causes constituted under the Provincial Small Cause Courts Act, 1887 (9 of 1887).

(2) Save as provided by that Act, the other sections of this Act do not apply to those Courts.
