Section 35: If sale annulled purchase money to be refunded.

The Bengal Land Revenue Sales Act, 1859Central Act · Act 11 of 1859

In the event of a sale being annulled by a final decree of a Court of Justice, and the former proprietor being restored to possession, the purchase money shall be refunded to the purchaser by Government, together with interest at the highest rate of the current public securities.
