Section 39: Common and special registry.

The Bengal Land Revenue Sales Act, 1859Central Act · Act 11 of 1859

There shall be two sets of registers, one for common registry and one for special registry. Common registry shall secure such tenures and farms against any auction purchaser at a sale for arrears of revenue except the Government. Special registry shall secure such tenures and farms against any auction purchaser at a sale for arrears of revenue including the Government.
