Section 5: Presiding over meetings of the Board

Every meeting of the Board shall be presided over by the Chairman of the Board. In case a meeting of the Board duly convened under the orders of the Chairman cannot be presided over by him for some reason, the meeting may be presided over by the Union Minister in-charge of Power who is also a member of the Board.
