Section 14: Exemption to banks from restriction on acquisition of land in excess of ceiling

The Bihar Agricultural Credit Operations and Miscellaneous Provisions (Banks) Act, 1977State Act of Bihar · Act 6 of 1983

Nothing in 7/11 any law for the time being in force placing a ceiling or limit on the holding or land shall apply to a bank acquiring land in terms of Section 13 and holding such land till such time as the bank is in a position to sell the land in the manner provided in Section 13 or otherwise a price which is adequate to cover its dues.
