(1) The Rules and all resolutions, orders, instructions etc. issued earlier, from time to time, by the Department in respect to this cadre, shall be deemed to be repealed effect from the date of coming into force of these Rules.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any thing done or any action taken in exercise of powers conferred by aforesaid Rules, resolutions, orders, instructions etc shall be deemed to be done any thing or any action taken under these Rules as if these Rules were in force on the date on which such thing was done or such an action was taken.
