Section 7: Procedure of Recruitment

(1) The appointing authority, after calculating vacancy on the basis of position as on 1st April of the year and getting roster cleared, shall send reservation category wise requisition to the Commission latest by 30th April.

(2) According to provisions of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Conduct of Examination Rules, 2010, the Commission shall add these requisitioned vacancies in the vacancies for Graduate Standard Competitive Examination and accordingly advertise these requisitioned vacancies also. The procedure and syllabus of examination shall be determined by the Commission.

(3) The Commission shall prepare merit list on the basis of result of Graduate Standard Competitive Examination, and shall send reservation category wise recommendations to the Appointing Authority in accordance with requisitioned vacancies, on the basis of which appointment may be considered.
