The words and figures “ with fine which may extend up to Rs. 10,000/-” used in sub section (1) of section 12 of the said Act, 1974 shall be substituted by the words “with fine of rupees five lakhs or 300% of all costs incurred by the Authority whichever is higher” and further the words and figures “Rupees 100/- for every day” shall be substituted by the words “ Rupees five thousand per day”.
