Section 18: Selection process for Promotion

Bihar Local Area Engineering Service (Recruitment and Service conditions) Rules, 2016State Rules of Bihar · 1949

All Promotion in this Cadre shall be determined on the basis of recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee.

The Departmental Promotion Committee shall consider the panel of seniority list which will be just double of existing vacancy. Recommendation of Committee for promotion shall be valid till one year.
