(3) No chance in the notice of hours of work shalt be allowed unless athree days'clear notice is given to the lnspector indicating the contemplatedchange in the notice of hours of work.

29' weekly Hest'- (1) Every motor transport worker shall be allowed aday of rest for a whore day once in every week "no ,n "n;;r;;; effect sha,be made in the appropriate column in iorm V.

(2) No motor transport worker shall be required or allowed to work onday'of rest fixed for h-im (hereinafter referred to as the said day), untess _(a) he has or will have a holiday for a whole day (hereinafter called thesubstituted day) on one of the three days i**.oi"t.iv u.i"r.;;;;

(b) the employer has before said day or substituted day whichever isearlier.-

(i) 'delivered a notice at the office of the lnspector of his intention torequire the worker to work on the saio jav ;fu tday which isto be substituted; and

(3) Notices given under sub-rutes (1) and (2) may be canceiled by anotice delivered at the undertaking not laier ttran ine day before the said dayor the substituted day to be cancelled, whichever is earlier.

(3) Every employer shall maintain a Hegist in Form No. Vl, which Shall be preseruecl for a period of three years after the last entry in it and shall be produced before the lnspector on demand'

CHAPTER VI Wages and Leave
