Provided that if the Chief lnspector is.6f opinion that any lndividual Control Book or similar record maintained as a part of the routine of an undertaking gives.the particulars required under this rule, he may by order.in writing direct tha't'such individual controt book or record be maintained in place of and treated as the individual control book required under this rule.
. '[(e) Every motor transport worker travelling with the vehicle shall make entries daily in the lndividual Control Book and forward or handover to his ernployer the original copy of the form not later than the first working day after completion of the week to which the form relates.l
(2) Every employer shall maintain the original copies of the lndividual Control Book maintained in Sub-rule (2) in separate files for each motor transport worker for a period of three years and shall produce it on demand by a lnspector.
