Section 3: Repeal and Savings

The Bihar Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Act, 2016State Act of Bihar · Act 5 of 2016

(1) Bihar Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Ordinance, 2016 (Bihar Ordinance No. 2, 2016) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in exercise of any power conferred by or under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken in excercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act was come into force on the day on which such thing was done or action taken.
