Section 6: Amendment of Section-8 of Bihar School Examination Board Act 1952 (Bihar Act 7 of 1952)

Section-8 of the Bihar School Examination Board Act 1952 ( Bihar Act 7 of 1952) shall be substituted by the following :- 8 (1) Officers of the Board - The following shall be the officers of the Board, namely:-

(i) the Chairman

(ii) the Secretary

(iii) the Director Academic

(iv) the Joint Secretary (Senior Secondary)

(v) the Joint Secretary (Secondary)

(vi) the Controller of Examination (Senior Secondary)

(vii) the Controller of Examination(Secondary)

(viii) the Finance Officer, and

(ix) Such other officers as may be prescribed by rules made under this Act to be officers of the Board; and 8 (2) Besides the Chairman and the Secretary, the power and duties of the officers mentioned in sub-section (1) of section-8 shall be decided by the Board with the approval of the administrative department.
