Section 13: Consolidation to follow special survey & settlement

The Bihar Special Survey and Settlement Act, 2011State Act of Bihar · Act 24 of 2011

(1) Consolidation operations, as provided in The Bihar Consolidation of Holdings & Prevention of Fragmentation Act, 1956 shall be made in the revenue villages covered by special survey and settlement under this Act.

The workforce engaged in special survey and settlement may be engaged, as per need, in Consolidation operations.

(2) Voluntary consolidation/exchange of land shall be encouraged and due public information base shall be created for the same.
