Section 5: Disqualifications for membership of Council

The Bihar State Higher Education Council Act, 2018State Act of Bihar · Act 1 of 2020

A person shall be 10 ॢबह�र गजट [स�ध�रण�� 11116666 tuojh 2020tuojh 2020tuojh 2020tuojh 2020 disqualified for being appointed as Vice-Chairman or for being nominated as a member of the Council, if-

(a) He is of unsound mind:

(b) He is an applicant to be adjudicated as insolvent or is an undercharged insolvent;

(c) He has been sentenced for any offence involving moral turpitude;

(d) He is working and paid officer or employee of the Council; or

(e) He incurs such other disqualification as may be prescribed by the Government;
