Section 1: Short title, Extent and Commencement

Bihar State Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Trade) Act, 2012State Act of Bihar · Act 25 of 2012

(1) This Act may be called the Bihar State Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood and Regulation of Trade) Act, 2012.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas of the State.
