Section 2: Amendment in section 3 of Bihar Act 23 of 1976

Sub section (1) of section 3 of The Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 (Bihar Act 23, 1976) shall be amended as follows:-

(1) Clauses (d), (e) and (f) of sub section (1) of section 3 of Bihar Act 23,1976 will be deleted.

(2) Clause (g) of sub section (1) of section 3 of Bihar Act 23,1976 shall be renumbered as clause (d) and shall be substituted by the following :- "(d) The Magadh University headquarters of which will be at Bodhgaya (Gaya) and territorial jurisdiction of which will be the whole of the Magadh Division.”

3. Clause (h) and (i) of sub section (1) of section 3 of Bihar Act 23,1976 shall be renumbered as clause (e) and (f) of sub section (1) of section 3 respectively.
