(1) The appointing authority, after calculating vacancy on the basis of position as on 1st April of the year and getting roster cleared, shall send reservation category wise requisition to the Commission latest by 30 th April.
(2) In light of requisition, the Commission shall invite applications after advertising vacancies and shall prepare merit list on following basis:-
(a) For marks obtained in the Intermediate/10+2 course examination - 30 marks
(b) For certificate course - 25 marks 5 �बहार गजट (असाधारण), 28 अग� त 2015
(c) For higher degree - 10 marks
(d) For work experience in Government Hospital of Bihar State (5 marks for each year, maximum 25 marks) - 25 marks
(e) For Interview - 10 marks Total= 100 marks Note.- The marks to be given to a candidate for marks obtained in the Intermediate/10+2 course examinations shall be determined by multiplying percentage of total marks obtained in the aforesaid course’s examination by multiple of 0.30. For example, if a candidate has obtained 50% marks, he will be given 50% X 0.30=15marks.
(3) Procedure for interview shall be determined by the Commission.
(4) The Commissions shall prepare merit list on the basis of sub-rule (2). After preparation of merit list, preliminary scrutiny of the certificates and medical check up shall be conducted by the Commission with the co-operation of the Appointing Authority, and thereafter, reservation categorywise final recommendation, in accordance with the requisitioned vacancies, shall be sent to the Appointing Authority. At the level of the Appointing Authority also, antecedents of candidates shall be caused to be verified after scrutiny of certificates.
(5) (1) After receipt of recommendation of the Commission, it shall be necessary to comply instructions issued by the Government, from time to time, with respect to procedure of appointment.
(2) The recommendation of the Commission shall be valid for one year w.e.f.
the date of its receipt in the department.
