Section 16: Departmental Promotion Committee

Bihar Vigilance Investigation Cadre RulesState Rules of Bihar · 2011

(1) To consider the promotion from police Sub-Inspector to Police Inspector grade, the Departmental Promotion Committee as per rule shall be constituted as follows :-

(a) Additional Director General of Police, Chairman Vigilance Department

(b) Inspector General of Police, Member Vigilance Department

(c) Deputy inspector General of Police, Member Vigilance Department belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes

(d) Superintendent of Police, Member Secretary Vigilance Department doing establishment work

(2) To consider the promotion from police Inspector to Deputy Superintendent of Police grade, the Departmental Promotion Committee aa per rule shall be constituted as follows :-

(a) Chairman/Member, Chairman Bihar Public Service Commission

(b) Principal Secretary, Member Vigilance Department

(c) Additional Director General of Police, Member Vigilance Department

(d) An Officer belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes Member Secretary nominated by General Administration Department

(3) To consider the promotion from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Senior Deputy Superintendent of Police/Additional Superintendent of Police/Superintendent of Police grade, the Departmental Promotion Committee aa per rule shall be constituted as follows :-

(a) Principal Secretary, Chairman Vigilance Department

(b) Additional Director General of Police, Member Vigilance Department

(c) Inspector General of Police Member

(d) An Officer belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes Member nominated by General Administration Department 14 �बहार गजट (असाधारण), 24 अगः त 2012
