Section 12: Notice to claimants against debtor

The Broach and Kaira Incumbered Estates Act, 1877Central Act · Act 14 of 1877

On the publication of the order of management, the manager shall publish in the Bombay Government Gazette a notice in English and Gujarathi calling upon all persons having claims against the debtor or the property under management, to notify the same in writing to such manager within six from the date of the publication.

Copies of notice to be exhibited.—He shall also cause copies of such notice to be exhibited at the Mamlatdars’ kachahris in the district in which the said property lies, and at such other places as he thinks fit.
