( l) ·nJe Chief Exccllrivc ()fficer shaU correct the electoral roll m accordance \Vith the orders pa-;sed under rule lG and pre pare hy printing (11" otherwise as man; copies thereof.in English and in the lndiiln language of the District as is reasonably necessarY.
(2) A copy of the corrected roll shall be pasted at the notice hoard of the Cantonment Board Office and notice thc.rcof shall be published throughout the Cantonment in tile same manner as in rule 12, on 15th September of each year·
Provided that pubiication of notice shall not be nec c~;sary if there are no corrections in the electoral roll as u:-iginal\y prepared:
Provided further that the Chief Executive Officer shall remove from the roll the names of any persons from ;tny local area forming part of a Cantonment when, by a notification under Section 4 of the Act, such areas cease to he under the control of the Board after the tlnal publication of th:: rolls.
(3) If the electoral roll is not prepared or finally pul>- 1 shed on the dates specified in rule 10 or sub-rule (I) of rule 17 respectively, the Central Government may direct tnc Board or where a Board is not constituted, the Officer <:ommanding the Station to have the electoral roll prepared '" fmully pubhshed on such dates as may be specified in the order, and the Board or the Officer Commanding the Stat!. on, as the case may be, shall comply with such direc lion;
( 4) Any person whose name is borne on the electoral I()[[ as fuJal\y-published in a ward shall be entitled to pur chase from the Chief Executive Officer, at a reasonable pncc, to he fixed by the Board or where a Board has not hcen conslituted, the Officer Commanding the Station, one ~~OfTY of the roll of his own ward.
