Section 29: Eligibility of members of Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes to hold seats not reserved for them

The Cantonment Electoral Rules, 2007Central Rules · 2006

A member of the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes shall not be dis'qualified to hold a seat not reserved for members of those castes or tribes, if he or she is otherwise qualified to hold such seat under the provisions of the Act.
