Section 47: Ballot boxes and other papers to be sealed and forwarded to the Returning Officer

12) The Pol!Jng Officer shall also attach the scaled key, if any, to the ballot box and shall also enclose in :-eparaw packets and seal up in the same manner (:1) the tendered ballot papers,

(h) the unused ballot papers,

(c) I he spoilt ballot papers,

(d) the marked copy of the electoral roll,

(c) the tendered votes li~t,

(f) the challenged votes list

(l) (1) The packets shall be clearly marked wnh the nantc:ur number of the polling station and number of the ward and the number of its contents, and, together with tl1e httllot hox or boxes. and key thereof shall be forwarded wtthoUt tklay to the Returning Office,r.

(!! J The Polling Officer shall forward a list of articles despakhccJ to the Returning Officer and shall also fnrward detaiLs of accounting for the ballot papers and tendered ballot rapers received by him and their issue.
