{ a) While reserving the wards for women in a Cantonment for the frrst time, the seats reserved for women belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes shall be allotted to different wards by drawmg lols between the wards reserved for Sc~eduled Ca:;tes or Scheduled Tribes, as the case may be.
(h) Reservation for women in respect of the remain Ing seats, after reservation i.n accordance with clause (a), sk'.ll be aliottcd by drawing lots betwet:n the remaining wards other than those reserved for Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes.
(c) In case o[ category TV Cantonments, one ward out (lf two shall be reserved for women candidate alter nately in subsequent ordinary election.
(d) During every subsequent ordinary election in a C.1 ntonment other than category IV Cantonment, the pro c.ed urc for reservation of wards for women as referred to in clau."" (a) and (b) shall b~ followed but all those wards wh1ch had hcen reserved in just earlier election shall not he tncluded while drawing the lots for reservation.
(e) (i) The drawing oflots for reservation of seats for women (including the seats reserved for women belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes) shall b" carried out by1he President.

(ii) The place, date and time for drawing lots shall be published by the President at least seven days before the date so fixed, in any two lo q.l newspapers having wide circulation.
(iii) The exercise for drawing lots shall be carried out in the presence of members of the Board and general public who wish to witness the proceedings.
