Section 113: Shot-firing

Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023Central Regulations · 2003

(1) When shot-firing is in progress adequate precautions shall be taken to protect apparatus and conductors, other than those used for shot-firing, from injury.

(2) Current from lighting or power circuits shall not be used for firing shots.

(3) The construction of shot firing cables shall conform to relevant standards and adequate precautions shall be taken to prevent such cable touching other cables and apparatus.
