During the period of operation of this Ordinance, Item No. 9 in the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (I of 1944), shall have effect as if in sub-item II, the following had been inserted at the end, namely:— "(3) Biris in the manufacture of which any...Three rupees process has been conducted with the aid of per thousand."
