The Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968Central Act · Act 50 of 1968
(1) There shall be constituted and maintained by the Central Government [an armed force of the Union] to be called the Central Industrial Security Force for the better protection and security of industrial undertakings owned by that Government [,joint venture or private industrial undertaking] [and to perform such other duties as may be entrusted to it by the Central Government.]
(2) The Force shall be constituted in such manner, shall consist of such number of [supervisory officers, subordinate officers, under officers and other enrolled] members of the Force who shall receive such pay and other remuneration as may be prescribed.
