Gazefte No. 12Vol. XV dated 3rd March, 2008) ,{N ACT to provide for the extension of certain Central lah's to the State of Antnachal Prade,sh. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly ofArunachal Pradesh in the Fifty-eighthYear ofthe Republic oflndia as follows :- l. (l) ThisActmaybe called the Cental Laws (Extensiotr toArunachal Pradesh) Act, 2007
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. The Acts mentioned in the Schedule, subject to the modifications, if any, specified in the Schedule ard all rules, orders, regulations and schemes made thereunder are hereby extendedto, and shall be in force io the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
3. Any reference in anyAct, mentioned in the Schedule, to a law which is not in force in the State ofArumchal Pradesh shall, in relation to this State, be construed as a referenoe to tle conesponding law, ifany, in force in the State.
4. Aly reference by whatever form ofwords in any law for the time being in force in the State ofArunachal Pradesh to any authodty competent at the date of the passing of that law to exercise any powers or discharge any functions in the State shall, where a corresponding new authority has beeD constitut€d by or under any law now extended to the State, have effect as ifit were a reference to the new authoriry
5. (1) Ifany difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions ofany Act now extended to the State ofArunachal Pradesh, the State Govemment may- b], order notified in the Offrciat Gazette, make such pro"'i ;r,.ns orgive such directions as appear to it rrcessary for the removal of the diffrculty. (2) In particular, and rvithout prejudice to dre generality of dre foregoing power. any such notificd order may, -
(a) specify the qorresponding authorities within the meaning ofscction 4 ;
(b) Provide for the aansferofany mafter perding immediatcly'before rhe corunencement of this Act before any court. tribunal or other authority, to any corresponding court, tribunal or other aulhority for disposal ;
Provided that no such order shall be made aftcr the expiry oft\r,o years fiom the date of commencement of this Act.
