Section 20: In the said rules, in Form 6, for the portion beginning with “The holder of this licence” and ending with “vehicles of the following description”, the following shall be substituted, namely

Central Motor Vehicles (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2014.Central Rules · 1988

“The holder of this licence is licensed to drive vehicles of the following description, throughout India and, in case of E-rickshaw or E-cart, in specified areas or routes”.

21. In the said rules, in Form 7, under the heading “MACHINE READABLE ZONE”, before the subheading “Badge Details”, the following shall be inserted, namely:–– 8 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] “Authorisation to drive E-rickshaw or E-cart in …………. (specify areas or routes)”.
