Tryif.wpT y iy r , fy y f% y [f^rryy-m/4/3ERT./424/l 6] CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KERALA NOTIFICATION Kasaragod, the 21st February, 2017 No. CUK/ADM/Court-II/ 2016.—The following is published for general information.— Amendment to Statute 10 of Central University of Kerala on the constitution of the Second Court Section 26(b) read with Section 27(2) and Statute 10 of Central Universities Act, 2009 Existing Statute 10 Amended Statute 10 10(1) An annual meeting of the Court shall be held on a date to be fixed by the Executive Council unless some other date has been fixed by the Court of any year.
(2) At an annual meeting o f the Court, a report on the working of the University during the previous year, together with a statement o f the receipts and expenditure, the balance sheet as audited, and the financial estimates for the next year shall be presented.
10(1) An annual meeting of the Court shall be held on a date to be fixed by the Executive Council unless some other date has been fixed by the Court o f any year.

(3) A copy of the statement o f receipts and expenditure, the balance sheet and the financial estimates referred to in clause (2) shall be sent to every member of the Court at least seven days before the date of the annual meeting.
(4) Special meetings of the Court may be convened by the Executive Council or the Vice Chancellor or if there is no Vice Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor or if there no Pro-Vice-Chancellor, by the Registrar.
(5) Eleven members of the Court shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Court.
(3) A copy of the statement of receipts and expenditure, the balance sheet and the financial estimates referred to in clause (2) shall be sent to every member of the Court at least seven days before the date of the annual meeting.
(4) Special meetings of the Court may be convened by the Executive Council or the Vice Chancellor or if there is no Vice Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor or if there no Pro-Vice-Chancellor, by the Registrar.

(2) The emoluments of members of the academic staff shall be such as may be prescribed by the Ordinances.
(3) Every teachers and member of the academic staff of the University shall be appointed on a written Contract, the form of which shall be prescribed by the Ordinances.
(4) A copy of every contract refered to in clause (3) shall be deposited with the Registrar.
22 (7) All the teachers and other academic staff of the University shall, in the absence of any agreement to the contrary, be governed by the terms and conditions of service and code of conduct as are specified in the Statutes , the Ordinances and the Regulations.
