Section 5: Filling of casual vacancies

In the even of occurrence of any vacancy in the office of a member by reason of his death, resignation, removal or otherwise, the Central Government may appoint another person in his place and the person appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office only for the remainder of the term for which the member in whose place he was so appointed.
