The East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948Union territory Act of Chandigarh · Act 50 of 1948

(1) The scheme prepared by the Consolidation Officer shall provide for the payment of compensation to any owner who is allotted a holding of less market vale than that of his original holding for the recovery of cOmpensation from any owner who is allotted a holding of greater market value than that of his original holding.
