Sub-section (i). dated the 23'0 November, 2017, inviting objections or suggestions from all p r on , IIkoly to bo affected thereby, before the expiry of the poriod of thirty days from the date on which th copI s of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public; 'f' And whereas. copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public on 2:3 November, 2017. And whereas, no objection or suggestion has been received from the public in respect of the said notification: Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement.-(l) These rules may be called the Insecticides (Amendment) Rules. 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Insecticides Rules. 1971, (hereinafter referred as the said rules).- (A) in rule 6.-
(i) for sub-rule (4), the following rule shall be substituted, namely: - "4. The certificate of registration shall be issued in the format as approved by the Registration Committee with such conditions as specified therein.";
(ii) in sub-rule (4A) , for the word and figures "form 111", the words "in the format as approved by the Registration Committee" shall be substituted.
3. In the said rules, in rule 7-
(i) in sub-rule (1). the words and figures "in Form IV" shall be omitted;
(ii) for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted namely: - "2. The appeal shall be in writing duly signed by the appellant and shall clearly .indicate, name, address and e-mail of the appellant. name of insecticides to which appeal pertains: date of}he. decision of the Registration Committee appealed against, whether the appeal IS wlt~m prescn~ea period of limitation. particulars of the fee deposited, compiete statement of facts WIth supportIng documents. grounds for appeal. and the relief claimed".
