Section 15: Registration and Stamp duty

Registration of the lease deed in the case of sites is optional but in the case of buildings it is compulsory.

The lessee in each case shall bear and pay all expenses in respect of the execution and registration of the lease deed including the stamp duty and registration fee payable therefor in accordance with law in force at that time.
