compartment by a fixed partitlon, whlch is not capabLe of being readily opened, shall be furnished wlth efftctent means to enable the passengers, conductor or the cleaner, ln such compartfient to signal the drh,e! to stop the vehlcte; provialed that cleaner or a conductor in a goods vehicle shaU be seated at the back to glve slgnal to the driver when the former notlces a faster vehlcle approachlng the one ln which he ls travel1lng.

(3) Eve!y goods carrlage or tractor traller combination shatl be furnlshed wlth efficient means of communlcatlon to enable the cleaner or conductor to slgnal the drtver to stop the vehlcle or to cautlon to allow passage for faster movlng vehlcle. The connectioa of the communlcatlon belt shau be oi adapter and socket type so that the communication belt could be conn€cted and dlsconnected while coupllng and dlscoupUng thetraller.
