1. (J) This Act may be called the Punjab Land Revenue (Special Assessment) . Act, 1955.

(2) It extends to the whole of the ‘[Union territory of Chandigarh].

(3) It shall come into force at once, 2, In this Act, unless there is something repugnant in the subject or context,—
