Section 12: Allocation of Symbols

Section 227-Chd-Panchayat-Rules-1994Union territory Rules of Chandigarh · 1994

The Returning Officer shall, on the expiry of the time fixed for withdrawal of candidatures, allocate by draw of lot to each validity nominated candidate hereinafter called the contesting candidate a Symbol out of symbols as prescribed by the Election Commission.
