Section 19: The RegUlation of traffic in the vending zone

Section 37 of the Street Vendors-bye-lawUnion territory Regulations of Chandigarh · 2014

Wherever a vending zone is declared by the TVC, the traffic police shall decide about one way traffic, vending timings, speed limit, parking, movement of heavy vehicles etc. If traffic division doesn't agree with the vending zone, in that case it shall have to be shifted or cancelled in consultation with the TVC and urban development department.

Local Authority shall clearly earmark the vending area, a footpath and carriage way with in the vending zone i.e. the circulation area.
