A member desiring to resign his seat on the State Council shall send his resignation in writing to the Chairperson and every such resignation shall take effect from the date mentioned by him in this behalf or in case no such date is mentioned, from the date of the receipt of his letter by the Chairperson after confirmation from the member concerned about his resignation.
