These rules shall come into force with immediate effect in case of new registrations. However, all registered medical practitioners employed in a Genetic Clinic or Ultrasound Clinic or Imaging Centre on the basis of one year experience or six months training and failed to qualify the competency based exam as specified in Schedule II shall have to apply and clear six months training on or before1 st January, 2017.
