(1) This Act may be cal led The Madhya Pradesh Adim Jan Jatiyon Ka Sanrakshan (Vrakshon Me Hit) Adhiniyam, 1999.

(2) It shal l come into force on such date as the State Government may, by noti f icat ion, appoint. (3) It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
