Before the installat ion of electric l ight or any electrical apparatus and before any alterat ions to the electric installat ion are commenced, the sanction of the Electrical Inspector to Government shall be obtained through the l icensing authority and for this purpose plans showing the approximate posit ion of l ights, fans and such other fi t t ing and specification giving full part iculars of the proposed work shall be forwarded to the Electrical Inspector to Government to whom complete drawing shall also be sent on completion of work. After completion, the work shall be passed by the Electrical Inspector or an Assistant Electrical Inspector.
