Section 31: Control of auditorium lights from enclosure

The Chhattisgarh Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1972State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1952

(1) In the case of cinemas, i t may be permitted to control a portion of the l ights in the auditorium by switches placed in the enclosure, provided these switches are of totally closed metal clad type and associated with fuses of not more than 15 amps. Capacity at a pressure not exceeding 230 volts. The number and posit ion of such switches shall be subject to the approval of the Electrical Inspector or his Assistant.

(2) Where fluorescent l ights have been provided a Thyral ux or equivalent Thyratron shall be used for the purpose of dimming these fluorescent l ights.
